Code4Lib will be held from March 8th to March 11th this year. We have reserved a block at the The Westin Pittsburgh; see more details on the Venues page.
When you register, you will be able to select one all-day workshop or two half-day workshops. As with past Code4Lib conferences, it will be possible to register for the main conference, the main conference + pre-conference day, or only for the pre-conference day (pre-conference only day registration will open in mid-January).
Payment Policy: Payment for the full amount of registration fees must be made at the time of registration or within 48 hours of the completion of registration.
Cancellation Policy: All cancellations received on or before February 12, 2020 are eligible for a full refund of fees paid, less a 10% cancellation fee. No refunds will be issued after the February 12 cut-off date. Registrants are able to transfer completed registrations to colleagues - please contact code4lib@concentra-cms.com to finalize this process.
UPDATE: Code4Lib 2020 Conference is proceeding as planned.
The health and well-being of the Code4Lib Community is very important to us. The CDC is not currently restricting travel within the United States. However, we understand that several organizations are imposing non-essential travel restrictions and individuals are making personal choices to restrict travel.
Because of this, We are actively working with our suppliers, primarily the hotel, to see what we can do to minimize the financial impact of decreased attendance. We would like to be able to provide those that have to cancel late a partial refund, but we are not certain of the possibility at this time. We are tracking those that are not able to attend and will follow up with them as information becomes available. This follow up will likely happen after the conclusion of the event.
Additionally, please remember, Code4Lib will once again stream all of the sessions on the main conference days (not the pre-conference workshops). Some sessions may be excluded if the presenter declines to allow the session to be streamed, but it’s generally very few. You can find information about this option below, under the “Can’t attend in person?” heading.
We understand that everyone has a personal decision to make, based on your research, health, and individual situation. We support you in that decision and look forward to your participation in Code4Lib 2020, whether it be in person or remote.

We are thrilled to be able to provide live transcriptions of all the presentations .
